Design for NSP – Design Challenge

The Task

In preparation for our interview, we would like for you to assemble two flyers for an NSP program. This design challenge will allow us to not only see your strengths as a designer, but will give you a preview to what you will be doing with our office. We have provided you a description of the event below with details for you to use as you see fit. You have creative freedom with this assignment, but we have provided samples of previous NSP projects and designs for your viewing.

We ask that you design two 8.5×11 flyers for “Meet the Pack”, a program for the Class of 2023 during Wolfpack Welcome Week in August. One should be your interpretation of the NC State/NSP brand. The second should be an expression of your design aesthetic/style so we can learn more about you. Please bring your flyers to your interview, where you will have an opportunity to discuss your designs.

The Details

The goal of Meet the Pack, a social program that supports transition, is to facilitate new connections and friendships between new students. This is accomplished through quick “get to know you” activities and games in an informal setting. They will also have the opportunity to reunite with their Orientation Leader from the summer.
