Meet the Orientation Leaders

Meet the students behind #OL2019! > Each year New Student Programs selects a group of mature and dedicated undergraduate leaders to assist with implementing university orientation programs throughout the year. Orientation Leaders serve as resources and peer advisors to new students and family members attending orientation programs.

Due to the one-day nature of the Transfer Orientation program, housing for students will not be provided by New Student Programs.

  • Students requiring housing the night before their designated Orientation date may register for early arrival housing through University Housing Conference Services for an additional fee. Click here to register
  • Students and families attending Transfer Orientation can reserve housing in Wolf Village Apartments.
  • Each apartment contains 4 bedrooms (each with a full-size bed) and 2 bathrooms. The rate is $47.50 per bedroom, per night. Guests may be assigned to share an apartment with another family attending the same event.  Please indicate on your registration form how many guests are in your party and how many bedrooms your party requires.
  • You must be registered to attend Transfer Orientation to stay on campus.  Space is limited, and early reservations are encouraged.
  • Reservations must be made five business days in advance using the Conference Services online form, and pre-payment is required.

Students who identify as transgender and who plan to spend the night on campus during Orientation may contact Cameron Hill prior to their arrival to discuss the options available for room assignments. The Orientation staff works with transgender students on a case-by-case basis to find the right housing fit for each student. Hotel discounts are also offered to Orientation participants.
