Entering a university large university in the middle of the year can be overwhelming. Pack Connections groups are a new way for you to make NC State feel like home, meet more of #NCStatetransfers, and get involved on campus in a smaller, tight knit community!
- Who can join? Pack Connections group are open to Spring 2017 admitted transfer students. Each Pack Connections group will be comprised of 20-25 students, and will be led by upper-class Pack Connections Leaders.
- What will we be doing? Pack Connections groups will meet once a week for dinner (dinner not provided) where your group will have a chance to know each other. In addition to dinner meetings, each group will attend some of NC State’s and Raleigh’s signature events and traditions including athletic events, community engagement and service events, Arts NC State events etc to be decided by the group and Pack Connections leader based on interest and availability.
- When will groups meet? Pack Connections groups will meet Tuesdays at 6pm at both on campus and off campus dining locations (to be determined by the group’s interests). Groups will begin meeting weekly at 6pm beginning Tuesday, January 10, 2017 through Tuesday, April 18, 2017. *Groups will not meet the week of Spring Break (March 7, 2017).
- What is the commitment? By signing up to participate, you are committing to meeting your Pack Connections for weekly dinners as well as attending at least 2 group events a month to be planned by your group.
Space in the program is limited. Registration for the program will remain open until Wednesday, January 4th, 2016 Upon filling out the registration form, students will be informed by Sunday, January 8th, 2017 if they have been placed in a group.
