Check out the Academic Success Center! The ASC provides a variety of free programs like writing support, tutoring, and other resources to support you before you fall behind.

The Change of Degree Application (CODA) is an easy-to-use tool for undergraduate degree-seeking students at NC State to manage their majors and minors. Review the CODA Application Deadlines and connect with your academic advisor if you’re interested.

Make sure to recharge during this time and practice some self-care activities!
Apply for an Alternative Service Break program during Spring break. This is a unique learning experience in which students engage in direct service to a community while being immersed in the culture.
With the option to choose from 3, 5 or 10-week sessions, you can build a schedule around your summer plans and fulfill degree requirements from a wide variety of course offerings! Enrollment begins this month.

Spring Renewal and Sale begins based on your credit hours for residential and commuter students.

Make sure to check the Exam Calendar and your syllabus for each class to verify the time, date, and location of your finals.
This is a time to recharge your mental and social battery to help you put your best foot forward at the start of the spring semester. If you plan to stick around campus make sure you have signed up for transitional housing, there is a cost of $25 per night for winter break.
Scholarship applications open at the start of the month, for students applying to study abroad next fall semester. Students completing this single application will be eligible for as many as 20+ types of scholarships and travel awards which generally range from $1,000 to $3,000.

If you aren’t living on campus, review the Off-Campus Housing Website if you need a place to start your search.
Spring break means no classes! A great time to rest and refocus in preparation for the last few weeks of the academic year!
Students who submit FAFSAs (The Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by the priority filing date (March 1) are given first consideration for need-based grant assistance offered by the university.

If you plan on taking a Maymester or Summer 1 course make sure to stay updated with the deadlines to add courses without permission. After, you’ll need to contact the instructor for permission to enroll in a given course.

If you took any summer courses, late July will wrap up Summer I 10-Week and Summer II Sessions.
