Spring Connect Summer/Fall Advising

Students should email Anne Hubbard, a member of the CALS Advising Team at alhubbar@ncsu.edu as soon as they know they are accepting the Spring Connect offer from the University.  CALS wants to connect with students ASAP regarding their summer and fall plans.  If they aren’t sure what they want to do or have questions, CALS can help them explore their options. Students should expect email contact from CALS the first week in June if they haven’t reached out to the college already. The College of Education is delighted to work with our Spring Connect Students. We encourage students who plan to take courses at other institutions for  summer/fall to schedule an advising meeting to discuss course plans and/or to review college and degree requirements. • Students will receive an email from an advisor with a link to an Advising Survey from Exploratory Studies. Please return this survey by June 30, 2022. If you are planning to take summer or fall courses at a different institution, our Spring Connect advisor will reach out to you regarding appropriate course selections.

• For new Spring Connect students in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, we want to ensure a smooth transition to NC State in Spring 2023. A student’s major department will communicate with them once they are accepted and/or officially enrolled, so students should be sure to check the email they have on file with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions periodically for any additional information.
• Listed below are the college’s academic advising contacts, who can respond to questions and concerns about advising and any coursework a student may be planning for Summer/Fall 2022 at another institution. If a student needs academic assistance prior to their department communicating with them, please feel free to initiate contact using the departmental contact list below.

Emails will be sent to a student’s NCSU email account so students should follow the instructions on the New Student Checklist to make sure they have access to their NCSU email.  Should they need additional assistance, advising contact information is available here.

• Spring Connect students will receive emails from the College of Natural Resources and Registration & Records during the spring and summer to assist in selecting Summer and Fall 2022 classes at other institutions, so students should be sure to check the email they have on file with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions periodically for any additional information.
