To get started, we recommend watching this video presentation from the “Experience NC State” admitted students program. It overviews the New Student Checklist, New Student and Family Orientation, Summer Start, and other transition programs that you will experience as you start with the Wolfpack.
Get Started with the New Student Checklist
As a new student you probably have lots of questions about living and learning at NC State. The Checklist is a tool for new students like you so you can understand what to-do’s you’ll need to tackle as you prepare for to start college in the fall.
Consider Summer Start
Start your NC State journey in a smaller community during Summer Session II by taking up to 8 credit hours with a variety of campus support services.
Take Placement Tests
You may need to complete some placement assessments in math, chemistry, or foreign language before registering for classes this summer.
Show off your class pride and connect with other new students with the class hashtag!
