Entering a university alongside more than 4,000 new classmates can be overwhelming. Pack Connections groups are a new way for you to make NC State feel like home, meet more of #NCState20, and get involved on campus in a smaller, tight knit community!
- Who can join? Pack Connections group are open to new first-year undergraduate students. Each Pack Connections group will be comprised of 20-25 students, and will be led by 2 upper-class Pack Connections Leaders.
- What will we be doing? Pack Connections groups will meet once a week on campus for dinner where your group will have a chance to know each other (dinner not provided). In addition to dinner meetings, each group will attend some of NC State’s and Raleigh’s signature events and traditions including athletic events, community engagement and service events, Arts NC State events, the NC State fair etc to be decided by the group and Pack Connections leader based on interest and availability.
- When will groups meet? Upon registering, students will have the option to join the Monday or Tuesday Pack Connections groups. Both groups will meet weekly at 6pm beginning Monday, September 19, 2016 through Thursday, December 1, 2016. *Groups will not meet the week of Thanksgiving (November 21-22, 2016).
- What is the commitment? By signing up to participate, you are committing to meeting your Pack Connections for weekly dinners as well as attending at least 4 additional group events.
